9The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” ( aFor Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)John 4:27

Jesus Before Pilate
28 cThen they led Jesus dfrom the house of Caiaphas to ethe governor’s headquarters. ▼▼Greek the praetorium
It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor’s headquarters, gso that they would not be defiled, hbut could eat the Passover. Acts 11:2-3
2So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, ithe circumcision party ▼▼Or Jerusalem, those of the circumcision
criticized him, saying, 3 k“You went to uncircumcised men and late with them.” Acts 22:21-22
21And he said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you mfar away to the Gentiles.’”Paul and the Roman Tribune
22Up to this word they listened to him. Then they raised their voices and said, n“Away with such a fellow from the earth! For ohe should not be allowed to live.”Galatians 2:12-14
12For before certain men came from James, phe was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing qthe circumcision party. ▼▼Or fearing those of the circumcision
13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that their sconduct was not in step with tthe truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas ubefore them all, “If you, though a Jew, vlive like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
